Pan Configuration Example #10

Chain Suspended Pan with Chain Suspended Shade Holders

Starting at the top of this example is a canopy with 3 rings.  The pan is suspended by 3 medium weight brass chains approximately 12" from the ceiling.   The switched shade holders are suspended from the pan by a double loop with 1 link of chain between.  The total drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shades in this example is approximately 20".  The total drop can be adjusted in the canopy to pan or the pan to shade holder lengths of chain.

This configuration can be applied to all number of drops (2 drop, 3 drop, 4 or more drops).  Many pans can have an addtional drop from the center in place of a finial.  The center drop can be longer, shorter, or even with the others.

To configure this type of fixture you will need to select:

a canopy,   a pan,   type of chain,   type of shade holders (switched or un-switched),  a set of shades,   the total drop from ceiling to bottom of shades
