Old House Lights collects only the information you choose to give us, and uses it only to respond to you and operate this site. This notice explains what that means in plain terms.

What we collect

When you submit the contact, identification, or sourcing forms, we store the name, email address, and details you provide so we can reply. Identification photos are delivered with the enquiry notification and are not published. When you subscribe to updates, we store your email address. We also keep basic, aggregate server logs to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

We use your contact details to answer your message, help identify or source a fixture, or send the occasional archive update you asked for. We do not sell your information, and we don't send marketing you didn't request.

Affiliate retailers

Product links open Amazon, where Amazon and the seller shown there handle browsing data, purchases, payments, shipping, and returns under their own policies. Old House Lights does not receive or store your payment details.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from updates at any time, and you can ask us to delete the information you've shared by emailing hello@oldhouselights.com. We'll honor reasonable requests promptly.
